The Senior Manager of Information Security will be responsible for developing and maintaining a comprehensive metrics framework to measure the effectiveness of the cybersecurity program. Your role will focus on collecting, analyzing, and reporting security data to inform decision-making and improve the organization’s security posture.Metrics, Analytics, and Reporting are vital to our Information & Cyber Security program, giving the organization insight into the effectiveness and health of the overall program. This position will report to the Business Information Security Officer and will serve as the primary contact for all Information & Cyber Security reporting for Jack Henry.  

To find success, the selected candidate will need to be team-oriented, strongly self-motivated, and comfortable in a fast-paced work environment while continuously improving their professional knowledge and skills.  This position requires strong technical, written, verbal and interpersonal skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with other technical experts and managers at all levels within the company. 

This position can be based to work out of any Jack Henry office or remotely within the U.S. and requires travel up to 10% for meetings, trainings or conferences.  

What you’ll be responsible for: 

  • Develop and manage a cybersecurity metrics program that aligns with the organization's strategic objectives.
  • Produce regular reports on the status of the organization's cybersecurity health, including incidents, response times, and resolution outcomes.
  • Work closely with business units and security teams to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure accurate and timely reporting.
  • Present findings and insights to senior management and stakeholders to aid in decision-making.
  • Organize and lead meetings efficiently to drive agenda items and achieve productive outcomes.
  • Lead the development of dashboard visualizations to provide real-time views into the organization's security status.
  • Continuously improve reporting processes and tools to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of security reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements regarding cybersecurity reporting.
  • Mentor and manage a team of analysts and specialists, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
  • Provide audit and compliance request from internal and external entities with data as needed.
  • Provides support for security-related projects as assigned. 

What you’ll need to have: 

  • Must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in Information Technology, Data or associated Communications and Reporting. 
  • Must have a minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Information Security, Cyber Security, Military, or Law Enforcement.
  • Experience as a manager, supervisor, team lead, or mentor.

What would be nice for you to have: 

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Experience in the publishing/media industry is desirable.
  • High level of proficiency in the use of Microsoft products including Excel, Word, and Powerpoint.
  • Large scale enterprise transformation experience a bonus.
