The Senior Manager, Identity and Access Management (IAM) supports the execution of IAM strategies by managing the workflow and progress of team members who contribute to protecting company identities, sensitive information, and assets. This role involves day-to-day coordination with individuals across Operations, Engineering, Access Management, Directory Services, and GRC/Audit teams to ensure consistent implementation of IAM practices. While not responsible for setting organizational strategy, the Senior Manager plays a key role in operational delivery and cross-functional collaboration to uphold security standards. This position reports to the Director of IAM.

This position may be worked remotely within the United States, with the exception of California. 

All positions, regardless of location, may require an onsite interview or in-person onboarding requirement to verify your identity.  

What you’ll be responsible for:

  • Hands-on experience with industry-leading IAM/IGA/PAM platforms (e.g., SailPoint, Okta, CyberArk, Microsoft Entra/Azure AD).
  • Develops and implements IAM controls for hybrid and multi-cloud environments (e.g., AWS IAM,GCP, Azure AD).
  • Partners with IAM Director on IAM strategic roadmap aligned with business objectives and Zero Trust principles.
  • Assists with IAM vendor relationships, contract negotiations, and technology budgeting/forecasting.
  • Establishes and tracks key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics for IAM service efficiency, security posture, and compliance reporting to executive leadership.
  • Manages the security of Identities and the associated access therein, establishes security systems, policies and procedures to prevent system compromise or infiltration.
  • Establishes appropriate Identity and Access Management standards and designs and implements security policies to control system access.
  • Assesses the impact on the business caused by theft, destruction, alteration, or denial of access to information.
  • Develops policies & procedures to ensure the security of all solutions.
  • Investigates, recommends and monitors implementation of new security products and services.
  • Acts as a central point of contact for internal and external customers on security issues.
  • Participates in product Change Control Boards, RFP and works with other JHA departments to ensure security of products and services.
  • Leads daily scrum calls, backlog grooming, planning and sprints.
  • Regularly reviews team processes for opportunities and relevance.
  • Monitors and evaluates internal and external security threats.
  • Coordinates security-related reviews. Follows up on security findings from these and other third-party reviews.
  • May perform other job duties as assigned.

What you’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field. 
  • Minimum of 10 years working in IT.
  • Minimum of 5 years in a people leader role.
  • Minimum of 3 years working in Identity and Access Management.
  • Understanding of Cybersecurity best practices.

What would be nice for you to have:

  • Strong understanding of operations, process improvement and automation.
  • CISSP or CISM certifications.
  • Identity Governance and Access Management technology.
