The Infrastructure Engineer will be a key contributor on Jack Henry Digital’s Cloud Infrastructure team, responsible for building and operating the core systems that enable scalable, reliable delivery of application and infrastructure services in Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Our team owns deployment pipelines and collaborates closely with platform teams to deliver compute, identity, observability, tooling, and security capabilities across the organization.

We also collaborate deeply with product engineering teams to build high‑performance, scalable, and secure services that power core business functions including transactions, payments, deposits, transfers, authentication, and platform integrations. Our work sits at the heart of the platform and directly enables teams across the company to move faster and more safely.

This position may be worked remotely within the United States, with the exception of California. All positions, regardless of location, may require an onsite interview or in-person onboarding requirement to verify your identity.  

What you’ll be responsible for:

What you’ll need to have:

• Hands-on experience deploying and managing infrastructure in kubernetes clusters.
• Practical experience in declarative service infrastructure environments, specifically using Terraform.
• Experience in GCP, Azure or AWS cloud environment.
• Production programming experience and proficiency in Go or Python. 
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline tools such as Github Actions or CircleCI.
• Deep familiarity with operating in a Unix/Linux and Windows environment.

What would be nice for you to have:

• Proficiency building and scaling large enterprise pipelines.
• Experience managing production environments in Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Experience with modern deployment tools such as Akuity, Kargo, or Dagger.io.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum processes and operating within various methods of implementation.
