Product Communications Specialist III
Jack Henry is seeking to hire a Production Communications Specialist III to join our team. In this role, the individual will be responsible for creating, editing, maintaining, and distributing JHA Card Processing Solutions™ (CPS) product communications to CPS clients. This position plays a critical role in ensuring clients receive clear, accurate, and timely information related to product updates, scheduled maintenance, software releases, service incidents, and many other important communications that directly impact client operations.
The Production Communications Specialist III works independently to serve as a key point of coordination across internal teams, third‑party vendors, and client‑facing platforms, ensuring all messaging aligns with established communication standards, accurately reflects technical details, and all communications maintain consistency. This role will manage the full lifecycle of CPS product notifications, including drafting and reviewing content, scheduling and distributing communications, and maintaining communication templates and notification audiences. In this role, the individual will monitor multiple communication channels and maintenance calendars, ensure communications reach the appropriate audiences, and evaluates complex and time‑sensitive information to determine appropriate messaging.
The Production Communications Specialist III requires the individual to provide on‑call support outside of standard business hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to facilitate the immediate release of urgent or critical client communications. This responsibility is essential to ensuring clients receive timely notifications and updates during impactful events.

This role may be worked remotely throughout the United States, with the exception of the state of California.
The annual salary range for this role is $53,650.00 up to $77,300.00 and will be determined based on location and experience level.

What you’ll be responsible for:
- Works independently to serve as the primary resource for the creation, editing, and distribution of product-level communications, ensuring technical accuracy and consistent brand voice across all client and internal channels.
- Collaborate with internal departments and third-party vendors to prepare communications.
- Manages the full lifecycle of product notifications including software releases, maintenance windows, and incident alerts while delivering high quality content via email and client portals in accordance with established standards.
- Develops and maintains a communications calendar, updates client audiences that receive notifications, routinely updates client facing notification templates for accurate content, monitors multiple maintenance calendars and internal communications.
- Works on complex tasks and projects, applying strong judgment and proven techniques to evaluate information and create effective solutions.
- Acts as the primary point of contact for communications in meetings, effectively evaluating information to create communication solutions for product enhancements or incident management.
- Maintains and updates procedures, client facing portal(s), and SharePoint site(s).
- Maintains "on-call" availability outside of standard business hours to facilitate the immediate release of urgent, time-sensitive client communications during system outages or critical/urgent external client communications.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
What you’ll need to have:
- Minimum of four years of experience in communications, client relations, or customer support.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 applications (including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.).
- "On-call" availability outside of standard business hours as this role may require working nights, holidays, weekends, or extended hours as business needs dictate.
What would be nice for you to have:
- Previous experience working in the financial services industry with a thorough understanding of bank and/or credit union operations is preferred. Knowledge of Jack Henry™ JHA Card Processing Solutions™ (CPS) products and services is highly desired.
- Experience using Everbridge™ Suite platform for mass communications is highly desired.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Previous experience in creating, editing, and developing content or customer communications for diverse audiences.
- Highly organized with excellent time management skills; able to work independently, prioritize competing tasks, and consistently meet deadlines in fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment.
- Accurate and efficient typist with strong multitasking skills, exceptional attention to detail, and ability to execute moderately to complex projects using sound judgment and effective problem-solving techniques.
