What You’ll Do

As a Mobile Deployment Software Engineer Apprentice, you’ll be part of the team responsible for building, packaging, and deploying Jack Henry’s native iOS and Android applications for our Banno platform. This is a learning‑first, hands‑on role where you’ll gain real‑world experience supporting mobile releases used by over 1,000 financial institutions.

You’ll work alongside experienced engineers while developing skills across mobile deployment, automation, and tooling, all while contributing to high‑impact work that directly supports our clients.

In This Role, You’ll:

• Learn how to build, configure, and deploy native Android and iOS applications
• Support mobile release processes through Google Play and the Apple App Store
• Contribute to improving tools that support the build and deployment lifecycle
• Partner closely with internal teams to support new customer launches and updates
• Troubleshoot deployment issues and help ensure reliable, timely releases
• Document processes and learn best practices for scalable, secure delivery
• Grow your skills through mentorship, feedback, and structured learning

What We’re Looking For

This role is ideal for someone early in their technical career who enjoys learning by doing and thrives in a collaborative, fast‑moving environment.

Minimum Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future
• Able to meet legal requirements to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis

Preferred Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience with a modern programming language (academic, professional, or self‑taught)
• Familiarity with native Android or iOS environments
• Exposure to app deployment via Google Play or the Apple App Store
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform or other cloud environments
• Experience building or supporting tooling in virtualized or automated environments
