Our Banking Operations Client Services team is seeing a Business Consultant III to join our team. In this role you will conduct on-site Banking customer visits up to 50% of the time with the purpose of identifying ways to improve their deposit and loan operational performance and quantifying the anticipated benefits.  This role supports the continued needfor utilization studies to identify and quantify opportunities to fully leverage the Jack Henry systems with the primary focus being CIF 20/20 System Loans functionality and to provide process improvement recommendations to identify desirable front and back-office process changes in adherence with system capabilities. To be successful in this role we need someone who is detail oriented, has strong communication skills, self-motivated and can comfortably work with senior leadership and everyday users of our products. 

This position can be worked remotely throughout the U.S.

What you'll be responsible for: 

  • Conduct on-site customer operational and/or systems analysis resulting in problem identification when not working remotely. 
  • During engagements, identifies operational and system enhancement opportunities.
  • Drafts reports, including detailed reports that outline the findings and recommendations for process improvement. Based on results, designs solutions and hardware/software specifications by creating detailed documents.
  • Effectively discusses JHA products, services, and solutions with customers to ensure client retention.
  • May participate in sales and proposal presentations in addition to completing ongoing team account activities.
  • May perform other job duties as assigned.

What you'll need to have: 

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working in the banking industry.
  • Minimum of 3 years of broad banking experience in bank loan back-office banking operations.
  • CIF 20/20 Core System software experience with Loans with parameter knowledge.
  • Must be able to travel up to 50%. Travel is typically 1 trip a month and can be up to 1 week per trip, but could be more based on client need. 

What would be nice for you to have: 

  • CIF20/20 software experience with General Ledger.
  • Experience working with Jack Henry products.
  • Ability to problem solve and provide solutions to customers.
  • Able to define system and functional requirements. 
  • Able to analyze current processes and identify recommendations for improvement.
  • Able to project a positive image to customers.
  • Able to meet aggressive deadlines  and be able to work on multiple projects concurrently.
  • Interact professionally with other employees, customers, and suppliers.
  • Work effectively as a team contributor on all assignments.
  • Experience with Query or data mining tools.
