Technical Business Analyst Internship (Knowledge Enablement) – Summer 2026

Join our Knowledge Enablement team as a Technical Business Analyst, where you will collaborate across groups to optimize processes. You will drive efficiency through workflow mapping, automation, and centralized documentation, while fostering alignment and continuous improvement. Interns at Jack Henry earn $25.00 per hour and work a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
The Summer 2026 Internship Program will run from June 1 through August 7, 2026.
This position may be worked remotely out of the United States, with the exception of California.
What you’ll be responsible for:
The internship will focus on two key projects designed to strengthen process efficiency and stakeholder alignment within KE:
- Project 1: KE Request Submission via ServiceNow
- Objective: Centralize KE assistance requests by onboarding KE Documentation into jhNow.
- Scope: Gather requirements, design a standardized request process, and ensure automated routing to the KE Documentation team.
- Project 2: Automated Notification Workflow
- Objective: Develop a plan for an automated process to notify KE Development and KE Delivery of product name changes.
- Scope: Document requirements for automation, ensuring timely communication across teams.
During this 10-week program, you will gain hands-on experience in requirements gathering, process optimization, automation planning, and continuous improvement practices, while developing strong collaboration skills across diverse teams and platforms.
What you’ll need to have:
- Pursuing a bachelor or graduate’s degree in: Engineering, IT (Information Technology), MIS (Management Information Systems) or a related field.
- Demonstrated foundational knowledge or early experience in relevant areas of interest:
- Excellent communication, follow-through, and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement
- Business process analysis & optimization
- Technical documentation and requirements gathering
- Project management with strong organizational and prioritization capabilities
- Disruptor mindset focused on innovation and process efficiency
- Must be a US Citizen and not require sponsorship now or in the future
