Jack Henry is hiring a Senior Strategic Project Manager to join our Corporate Program Management Office in the Enterprise Services team. This role focuses on leading strategic internal programs, projects, and initiatives utilizing both agile and traditional methodologies. This candidate excels in critical thinking and emotional intelligence, enabling them to identify and resolve project risks and issues effectively. They are adept in technical domains, quick to learn new technologies and concepts, and skilled at building strong stakeholder partnerships. Additionally, they are a strong communicator, capable of leading detailed technical planning sessions and presenting to all levels of JH’s Senior Leadership.

What you’ll be responsible for: 

• Manages developing and implementing new or upgraded infrastructure, IT services, security, cloud, facilities, compliance, and implementation of corporate processes.
• Monitors the project from initiation through delivery including planning and directing schedules and monitoring budget/spending.
• Organizes cross-functional activities, ensuring completion of the project is on schedule and within budget constraints.
• Provides mentoring and support to other project managers in dealing with project management issues for their assigned projects.
• Lead and coordinate project teams by mentoring and motivating members, fostering a collaborative and communicative environment.
• Identify and mitigate significant risks, ensuring all deliverables meet rigorous quality standards
• Engage with senior stakeholders to provide strategic updates and gather feedback.
• Manage multiple larger-scale projects that require more strategic planning and stakeholder management.
• May perform other job duties as assigned. 

What you’ll need to have: 

• Minimum of 6 years of project or program management experience in a technical environment.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Must be able to travel up to 15% to attend meetings, training, and/or visits to other Jack Henry office locations.

• Demonstrates self-drive and the ability to work effectively under minimal supervision.

What would be nice for you to have: 

• SAFe certification (SPC, RTE, LPM, SSM).
• Agile experience and certifications (PMI – ACP, CSM, or other Agile industry certifications/credentials).
• Experience using traditional (MS Project, Changepoint, Planview, others) and Agile (Azure DevOps, Jira) project management tools.
