Senior Marketing Specialist
Jack Henry is currently looking for a marketing professional who has experience developing and executing marketing campaigns and programs to drive demand for financial solutions in both bank and credit union audiences. The Senior Marketing Specialist is expected to demonstrate advanced product knowledge and to research, understand, and articulate financial institution segments, needs, and opportunities. This role is focused on driving marketing activities that contribute to sales results and to plan and serve as project sponsor to identify, ideate, propose, budget, and manage marketing initiatives across their areas of responsibility.
What you’ll be responsible for:
- Serves as the primary resource and leads the strategy, development, execution, and reporting of integrated multi-channel campaigns and initiatives.
- Coordinates trade shows, advertising, collateral materials, mass marketing, telemarketing, database management and other marketing activities.
- Develops and implements marketing campaigns as appropriate for given products; campaigns may consist of a variety of tactics, including webinars, digital, email and more.
- Coordinates the strategy, development and review of all marketing materials.
- Manages paid media specifications with internal and external stakeholders in support of channel and tactical development through execution.
- Handles administrative, customer satisfaction, internal & external communications.
- Manages stakeholder relationships to facilitate goal achievement, collaboration, initiative status and results.
- Collaborates with marketing team for continuous improvements to self, initiatives and new marketing approaches.
- May perform other job duties as assigned.
What you’ll need to have:
- Minimum of six years of experience in marketing.
- Experience working specifically in financial services marketing.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
What would be nice for you to have:
- A seasoned marketer with a wide range of experience and able to resolve complex issues. Works on complex and diverse projects. Analysis requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Exercises excellent judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining solutions.
- Knowledge of financial industry technical solutions, financial industry audiences, and competitive market environment.
- Budget management experience.
- Excellent experience in the development of marketing campaigns and initiatives (online and offline tactics, multiple channels) from strategy through measurement.
- Experience developing marketing strategies and plans, and leading marketing project management across digital and creative services teams preferred.
- Excellent skills in written and verbal communications, stakeholder relations, and project management.
- Excellent knowledge of company products and services.
- Excellent knowledge of technical, financial, and banking industry and competitive market environment.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and marketing automation (e.g.: HubSpot).
