Jack Henry is currently looking for a marketing professional who has experience developing and executing marketing campaigns and programs to serve our Digital Banking and Payments capabilities. The Senior Marketing Specialist serves as a key marketing contact for specific lines of business within our Digital Banking and Payments capabilities. This person is expected to demonstrate deep product knowledge and to research, understand, and articulate the target audience segments, needs, and opportunities within the financial institution, consultant, partner, and fintech audiences. As a member of Jack Henry’s FI Marketing functional group who is focused on targeting multiple bank and credit union segments, the Senior Marketing Specialist helps in developing annual, quarterly, and monthly goals, and plans and serves as project sponsor to ideate, propose, budget, and manage marketing initiatives across their areas of responsibility.
What you’ll be responsible for:
- Under minimal supervision, is responsible for identifying strategic marketing opportunities that drive top line revenue and align with financial institution audience needs. Spearheads the execution of projects from creation to project management to performance reporting, including integrated marketing campaigns that support the buyer’s journey.
- Drives sales pipeline growth and nurturing by designing and executing solution marketing campaigns that support Jack Henry’s top business priorities.
- Partners with relevant product teams, identifies and supports new product launches and sunsets as needed.
- Identifies and executes needed updates and maintenance of all capability and product collateral and manages the development of new collateral as needed to ensure that the most current support materials and literature are accessible to Sales.
- Facilitates conversations with internal go-to-market product teams and Corporate Strategy teams to understand product/solution value propositions and competitive messages.
- Approaches and informs all marketing efforts by demonstrating proficiency in knowledge about product capabilities, target audiences, competitive differentiators, and buyer segments.
- Serves as strategic marketing contact for designated lines of business while providing marketing expertise to internal stakeholders.
- Serves as a B2B marketing strategist and expert to guide a team including executives, sales, product, creative, digital, events, planning and operations, corporate communications, and PR firm.
- Serves as a liaison with clients, consultants, analysts, and internal SMEs to influence and lead content development for all educational conferences and events.
- Supports and executes upon the vision, implementation, and ongoing evolution of Jack Henry’s capability architecture initiative and ensures that all products and services are reflected accurately and appropriately within Jack Henry’s capability architecture.
- Demonstrates great communication skills and the ability to clearly convey a strong point of view while respecting and collaborating with others who may share a different perspective.
- Maintains a results-oriented focus with the ability to prioritize and communicate clearly and effectively.
- Gathers results and reports product marketing performance among the bank, credit union, and business audiences on a quarterly basis, identifying insights to refine future marketing efforts.
- Participates in monthly forecasting for relevant marketing projects, ensuring that expenses are forecasted and allocated appropriately and accurately.
- Collaborates with marketing team for continuous improvement of strategic marketing projects and strategic approach.
- May perform other job duties as assigned.
What you’ll need to have:
- Minimum of six years of experience working in a strategic marketing capacity.
- Four years specifically in financial services marketing.
- 5% travel required.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Knowledge of financial industry technical solutions, financial industry audiences, and competitive market environment.
- Budget management experience.
What would be nice for you to have:
- Seasoned marketer with a wide range of experience and able to resolve complex issues. Works on complicated and diverse projects. Exercises excellent judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining solutions.
- Experience developing marketing strategies and plans, and leading marketing project management across digital and creative services teams preferred.
- Strong knowledge of financial industry technical solutions, financial industry audiences, and competitive environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- General knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with HubSpot (or equivalent) preferred.
