We are seeking a Senior Financial Systems Analyst to join our Finance Systems Operations team!  

The selected candidate will provide support for our revenue recognition system, Zuora Revenue and our ERP system, PeopleSoft Financials and Supply Chain Management (FSCM) focusing heavily on the Pricer, Billing, and Contracts modules. Create and maintain queries in Zuora Revenue, Oracle SQL Developer, and FSCM.  Assist with patch testing, system upgrades and enhancements of both systems.  Assist with the review and set up of access for new users. Collaborate with development, functional and admin teams on upgrades, fixes, enhancements, solutions, and additions of our current system.

The ideal candidate needs to be able to work well in a group environment as well as handling individual tasks and seeing them to completion. They need to possess solid communication skills, be adept in doing research and enjoy the hunt.

This position offers remote flexibility within a 70-mile radius of any of our office locations in Allen, TX; Birmingham, AL; Cedar Falls, IA; Charlotte, NC; Lenexa, KS; Louisville, KY; Springfield, MO; or Monett, MO.

What you’ll be responsible for:

  • Designs, develops, maintains, and enhances computerized finance-related systems.
  • Ensures that financial modules are working effectively and efficiently and proper security is in place.
  • Interacts with customers to gather system requirements.
  • Defines the system and functional requirements of the product.
  • Prepares business requirements and functional specifications.
  • Serves as a resource and/or participant in business process re-design activities. Assists the customer in determining if and how system enhancements may improve process flow and business function.
  • May perform application, system, and regression tests. 
  • Responsible for creating business requirements and system documentation, as well as contributing to end-user and project management documentation.
  • Works with quality assurance and programming teams to ensure changes are migrated into production correctly.
  • Interacts with technical teams to convey business requirements.
  • May assist less experienced peers.
  • May perform other job duties as assigned.

What you’ll need to have:

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst.
  • Experience in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) support. 
  • Excellent knowledge of the financial industry.
  • Experience with reading and writing queries using SQL Developer and/or SQL Server Management Studio.
  • Must have the flexibility and willingness to work outside of standard business hours as business needs dictate.

What would be nice for you to have:

  • Experience with Zuora Revenue (RevPro) or another revenue recognition system.
  • Experience with PeopleSoft FSCM with a focus on Contracts, Billing, and Pricer modules.
  • Experience leading and working on complex and diverse projects.
  • Exercise good judgement in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining solutions.
  • Experience working in or supporting an ERP system.
  • Excellent communication and customer interaction skills
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Able to define system and functional requirements.
  • Able to meet aggressive deadlines.
  • Able to interact with and communicate well with other technical associates.
