As a Salesforce Solution Architect at Jack Henry, you’ll have the opportunity to drive innovation and build platforms that will help financial institutions innovate faster, differentiate strategically, and advocate for their members and communities. You’ll collaborate cross functionally with a diverse team of engineers, architects, leaders, product managers and customers to ensure we deliver high quality software that meets the needs of our users.

Our engineers manage cloud and/or on-prem solutions and are responsible for writing clean, maintainable code, implementing new features, resolving bugs, and fostering collaboration within the team. Successful engineers will have strong technical skills and effective grasp of software design principles, object-oriented programming concepts, and testing methodologies. Depending on the product group areas you contribute to, you'll have the opportunity to code in various modern languages and leverage cutting edge tools such as Scala, C#, Java, Ruby, Kotlin, Objective-C, Swift, Go, Docker, Kubernetes, Swagger/OpenAPI, Node.js, Redis, Postgres, Azure, Google Cloud (GCP) and more.

Salesforce Solution Architect will be joining our Business Application Transformation team that supports the transition to the Salesforce platform. As a Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for enabling conversion of functional requirements into technical requirements that allow the development team to build capabilities within the Salesforce platform. The ideal candidate is a resourceful and innovative thinker who can work through and solve problems. They have extensive experience with the Salesforce platform along with of understanding both our current setup and our business objectives, to quickly identify areas of improvement. 

This position will be filled to work at remotely within the U.S. This position will have a salary range of $90100-$141900 based on several factors including location. 

What you'll be responsible for: 

  • Provide end-to-end solution architecture within Salesforce Service, Sales and Experience Clouds to fulfill business requirements.
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts and Product Owner to define appropriate functional requirements tailored to Salesforce.
  • Create appropriate design documentation to communicate solutions including HLD, user stories, process flows and wireframes.
  • Lead design review sessions with development and product team members.
  • Conduct appropriate buy-vs-build analysis to compare third party packages to internal development effort for solution delivery.
  • Ensure solution designs adhere to company, Salesforce and industry best practices and guidelines.
  • Act as an advocate for business stakeholders through the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) process to ensure solution design meets expectation.
  • May perform other job duties as assigned.  

What you'll need to have: 

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in development, architecture, or consulting with Salesforce platform. 
  • Experience with Service Cloud & Experience Cloud.
  • Relevant Salesforce certification.
  • Experience architecting complex business requirements into Salesforce solutions with a strong understanding of Salesforce specific design best practices and industry standards.
  • Proven ability to analyze, design, and optimize business processes by working across cross functional teams.
  • Ability to rapidly learn and take advantage of new concepts, business models, and technologies.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to understand then develop and present solution architecture documents to large audiences.
  • Ability to travel up to 5% to attend JH meetings, trainings, and/or professional conferences.

What would be nice for you to have: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or Business. 
  • Application Architect, B2B Solution Architect, B2C Solution Architect, Service Cloud Consultant, Experience Cloud Consultant, and/or Sales Cloud Consultant certifications.
  • Skilled in secure data integration within Salesforce, with experience in API-driven interoperability between Salesforce and ServiceNow.
  • Application design and development background.
