Reviews and responds to RFxs for product and service opportunities.
This position can be worked remotely throughout the U.S.
What you'll be responsible for:
- Develops, edits, and writes original proposals and other sales-related documents.
- After receiving details from sales representatives, responds to Requests for Proposals and other questionnaires (RFxs) by answering all questions, analyzing and summarizing costs, and providing additional information as requested by the customer.
- Works with other departments such as sales, research and development, installation, and marketing in order to respond to RFxs and requests for information.
- Responds to sales inquiries requests for information in a timely manner.
- Communicates with sales on a regular basis.
- May review sales proposals for products and service opportunities.
- Trains and assists less experienced peers.
- May perform other job duties as assigned.
What you'll need to have:
- Minimum of 5 experience working in a bank, credit union, or in the financial services industry.
- Experience selling, supporting, and/or implementing Jack Henry products and/or services.
- Excellent written and verbal communication. Ability to convey information and ideas effectively through written text.
What would be nice for you to have:
- Has a wide range of experience and able to resolve complex issues. Works on complex and diverse projects. Analysis requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. Exercises good judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, customer relation, organizational, technical, and project management skills.
- Able to use independent judgment to plan, prioritize and organize a diversified workload.
- Excellent knowledge of company products and services.
- Able to learn formal Request for Proposal and other questionnaires (RFx) procedures.
- Stays abreast of current technical standards and how it affects company products and services.
- Strong knowledge of software and PC applications and Microsoft office; able to learn other programs.
- Experience with Upland Qvidian.
