Working independently, the Product Management Consultant Advisor is a SME for all merchant processing solutions sponsored by or sold by Jack Henry directly and via partnerships. This includes internal Jack Henry conversations, external conversations with banks and credit unions and JH sales teams.

This position may be worked remotely within the United States, with the exception of California.  

All positions, regardless of location, may require an onsite interview or in-person onboarding requirement to verify your identity.

What you’ll be responsible for:

  • Ensures additional phases of new product launch occur on schedule.
  • Finalizes product description and marketing materials for banks and credit unions.
  • Participates in creation of product marketing collateral for SMB – small business focused messaging.
  • Serves as a key contributor to finalizing merchant pricing and strategy for product customer base and next phase of solution delivery.
  • Identifies necessary integration points for Tap2Local internally to deliver best product in market to support EPS existing solutions.
  • Provides tailored talking points that align with organizational goals and resonate across sales channels. 
  • Plays a key role in contract negotiations for existing and additional partnerships required to build out product suite.
  • Performs ongoing review of solution functionality – advises on enhancements needed to compete and exceed organizational goals.
  • Advises on developing appropriate revenue share strategies with banks and credit unions.
  • Identifies obstacles to success and develops strategies to mitigate each (i.e. real and perceived exclusivity clauses in Bank/CU existing contracts as well as merchant contracts).
  • Assist in developing strategy to attack additional processing volumes beyond initial products and initiatives.
  • Quantifies opportunities within each current customer Bank and Credit Union and quantifies benefits to FI in terms of client retention, additional services to be sold and move from personal DDA to business DDA.
  • Participates in developing product bundle options and pricing
  • Reviews and validates organizational revenue projections and underlying assumptions – updates as needed
  • Advises bank and credit union clients on sales strategies and path to maximum penetration within their small and medium size businesses (SMB) customer base.
  • Evaluates Revenue Share options for SDK channel partners and establishes structure options and minimums.
  • May perform other job duties as assigned.

What you’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum of 9 years of financial services sales experience.
  • 20% travel required.
