As a Product Design Intern, you’ll join a collaborative team that values creativity, curiosity, and iteration, and you’ll have the chance to see your ideas come to life in real products.
Program Details
- $25.00 per hour, full-time (40 hours/week)
- Summer 2026 Internship Program: June 1 – August 7, 2026
- Remote within 70 miles of our hub locations (Charlotte, NC; Springfield, MO; Monett, MO; Lenexa, KS; Allen, TX; Cedar Falls, IA; Louisville, KY)
What you’ll be responsible for:
- Collaborate with designers to create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups
- Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions
- Contribute to design systems and maintain visual consistency across platforms
- Present design concepts and gather feedback from cross-functional teams
- Focus on learning, iteration, and building a strong design portfolio
What you’ll need to have:
- Pursuing a degree in UX/UI, Product Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field
- A portfolio or samples that demonstrate design thinking, visual communication, or user research
- Foundational knowledge of design principles and interest in user-centered design
- Must be a U.S. citizen and not require sponsorship for employment authorization now or in the future
What would be nice for you to have:
- Experience with Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar design tools
- Familiarity with design systems, accessibility standards, or collaborative tools like Miro
- Strong communication skills to share ideas and tell the story behind your designs
