Director of Technical Product Management will be joining our Enterprise Product Management team and will manage all things surrounding this enterprise-wide technical environment and transformation to a new customer portal and CRM solution. This individual will be responsible for assessing needs, creating the roadmap, managing project managers and product owners, and ensuring a successful implementation. The ideal candidate brings a mix of technical domain knowledge of Salesforce, particularly case and service management, leadership experience, and a history of successful change management. They will understand the “how” and the “why” at each step of the way and possess the business acumen and communication skills to make things happen to move our organization forward.

This position will be filled to work Remotely within the U.S.

What you'll be responsible for: 

  • Directs a comprehensive product strategy from product conception and definition through end of life. 
  • Directs those involved in the design, modification and evaluation of all phases of a specific product or group of products from product definition and planning through implementation and release.       
  • Functions as a central resource with design, development, quality assurance, marketing and implementation as the software product(s) move through their lifecycle. 
  • Creates and maintains the product/vision roadmap.
  • Contributes technical expertise to the sales process and the development of effective marketing plans/campaigns.
  • Oversees alpha and beta program definition and coordinates execution.
  • Formulates and executes long-term plans for cost/profit control. 
  • Promotes use of new technologies and industry-leading trends. 
  • Provides direction, control and mentoring for Technical Product Managers under direction.
  • Completes people management functions including goal setting, performance appraisals, P&L management, budgeting, etc.
  • May oversee Project Management Office (PMO) activities.
  • May oversee annual Enhancement Submission Process (ESP).
  • May perform other job duties as assigned.

What you'll need to have: 

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in enterprise IT product management or architecture related to CRM.
  • Must have 6 years of experience with Enterprise platforms, such as:   Salesforce or ServiceNow or similar platforms.
  • Must have 5 years of experience as a manager or director
  • Must be able to travel up to 10% for internal and external business unit and stakeholder meetings.

What would be nice for you to have: 

  • Bachelor's degree or higher.
  • Experience with Copado, or similar Salesforce deployment tools.
  • Experience with DevOps.
  • Experience with Zero or Low Code Environments.
  • Experience with Agile principles.
  • Agile and/or project management certifications.
  • Experience in the financial services industry.
  • Salesforce-related certifications.
