Reporting to the National Director of Sales, we are looking for a visionary and results-driven Director of Strategic Alliances to lead our partnership strategy and Alliance Manager Team within Jack Henry’s financial technology partnership ecosystem. This role will be instrumental in leading a team to its’ fiscal goals while forging and scaling Jack Henry’s strategic partner relationships into the future. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in digital payments, 9-figure fiscal responsibility, a strong industry network, and a passion for driving growth through collaborative partnerships.

This position may be worked remotely within the United States, with the exception of California.

What you’ll be responsible for:

  • Strategic Partner Identification: Source and evaluate growth opportunities with key participants in the digital payments space.
  • Alliance Development: Maintain and manage a high-impact team that enhances product capabilities, expand market reach, and accelerate revenue growth.
  • Joint Go-to-Market Execution: Collaborate with internal teams and partners to develop and execute co-branded GTM strategies, including product integrations, bundled offerings, and joint marketing campaigns.
  • Contract Structuring & Negotiation: Lead negotiations for strategic agreements, ensuring alignment with business objectives and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Performance Management: Define and track KPIs for each alliance, ensuring accountability and continuous optimization.
  • Industry Engagement: Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and partner forums to strengthen brand visibility and uncover new opportunities.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product, Sales, Legal, and Marketing teams to ensure successful execution of partnership initiatives.
  • May perform other job duties as assigned.

What you’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or 8 years of equivalent experience.
  • 10 years of experience in strategic partnerships, business development, or alliances within the payments or fintech industry with a successful track record of quota based fiscal attainment.
  • Minimum 30% travel required.
  • Deep understanding of payment technologies, including open-digital banking, digital wallets, real-time payments, and embedded finance.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills, with a track record of closing complex deals.
  • Experience working with APIs, platform integrations, and partner enablement programs.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

What would be nice for you to have:

  • Existing network across digital banking providers and fintech platforms.
  • Familiarity with compliance and regulatory frameworks (e.g., PCI DSS, AML, KYC).
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort with data-driven decision-making.
