Director of ERP Strategy & Transformation
At Jack Henry, we deliver technology solutions that are digitally transforming and empowering community banks and credit unions to provide enhanced and streamlined user experiences to their customers and members. Our best-in-class products are just the beginning—we’re laying the foundation for the future of digital banking and payments, and we know that bold innovation starts from within. That’s why we’re looking for a dynamic and visionary Director of Technical Product Management to join our Enterprise Product Management & Adoption team and lead one of the most transformative initiatives in our organization.
In this strategic role, you will drive the selection, implementation, and long-term success of a modern SaaS platform for HCM, Financials, Procurement, and Payroll—replacing our legacy PeopleSoft systems. You’ll collaborate closely with senior business leaders to align technology strategy with organizational goals, while guiding a high-performing technology team through a complex, enterprise-wide ERP transformation. Your leadership will be instrumental in fostering cross-functional collaboration with stakeholders and implementation partners, ensuring seamless execution and adoption of the new platform. At the same time, you’ll oversee ongoing operations across our PeopleSoft environment, maintaining KPI targets and driving strong SDLC practices to ensure business continuity.
The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in ERP systems—particularly within HCM and Financials—along with a mastery of SDLC methodologies and a proven track record of leading enterprise-wide implementations. This is a rare opportunity to shape the future of our enterprise technology landscape, improve operational efficiency, and support scalable growth—all while working at the intersection of strategy, innovation, and execution.
This position may be worked remotely within the United States, with the exception of California. While we welcome applicants nationwide, preference will be given to candidates located near one of our office hubs in Allen, TX; Lenexa, KS; Springfield, MO; or Monett, MO. Occasional travel—up to 10%—may be required for team meetings, training sessions, or industry conferences.
What you’ll be responsible for:
- Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive ERP product strategy—from initial concept through implementation, optimization, and end-of-life—ensuring alignment with business objectives and long-term growth.
- Direct the selection, deployment, and enhancement of cloud-based ERP solutions, including Workday and Oracle Fusion Cloud, while overseeing system upgrades, integrations, customizations, and ongoing operational support.
- Manage complex ERP implementation projects, ensuring on-time delivery, budget adherence, and high-quality outcomes through effective planning, execution, and stakeholder engagement.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams (Finance, HR, Operations, IT) and external vendors to drive seamless execution, optimize workflows, and promote user adoption.
- Build and lead a high-performing ERP team, providing mentorship, setting goals, conducting performance reviews, and managing P&L and budgeting responsibilities.
- Champion process improvement and automation opportunities to enhance efficiency, scalability, and user experience across the enterprise.
- Ensure system stability, performance, and security while establishing governance policies, compliance standards, and best practices.
- Lead troubleshooting and incident resolution efforts, maintaining business continuity and minimizing downtime.
- Own the product vision and roadmap, incorporating emerging technologies and industry trends to future-proof the ERP ecosystem.
- Support end-users through training, documentation, and ongoing engagement to maximize system effectiveness and satisfaction.
- Drive accurate data management, reporting, and analytics capabilities, including the development of dashboards and insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Formulate and execute long-term plans for cost control, profitability, and operational excellence.
- Complete people management functions including goal setting, performance appraisals, P&L management, budgeting, etc.
- May perform other job duties as assigned.
What you’ll need to have:
- Minimum of 10 years in a technical ERP role with leading industry-standard products including experience with ERP-related reporting.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience leading and managing high performing teams.
What would be nice for you to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred.
- Experience with Workday or Oracle Fusion Cloud.
- Proven experience managing, implementing, and supporting ERP systems, including full-cycle deployments involving SDLC methodologies and complex data migrations.
- Deep understanding of business processes across finance, supply chain, human resources, and operations, with the ability to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
- Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams, managing large-scale projects, and solving complex problems in fast-paced environments.
- Strong communication skills—both written and verbal—with the ability to influence stakeholders and articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Expertise in system integrations and cloud-based ERP platforms, with hands-on experience in platforms such as PeopleSoft, Salesforce, and ServiceNow.
- Ability to drive process improvements and recommend enhancements that increase operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Comfortable working under pressure and meeting aggressive deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality and performance.
- Professional certifications such as PMP, ITIL, or ERP-specific credentials (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday) are highly desirable.
