As the Director of AI Transformation, you'll drive the Organization’s AI evolution—championing cutting-edge Generative AI tools, methodologies, and best practices across all divisions, functions, and business units. Your initial focus will be revolutionizing Product Development teams, empowering them with AI-driven innovation.

In this role, you’ll set the strategic vision, provide thought leadership, and cultivate momentum for AI adoption across our technology landscape. This position may be worked remotely within the United States. 

What you’ll be responsible for:

  • Directs and leads the vision and strategy for the AI Transformation Office, with oversight of the AI internal coaching team and their programs.  
  • Directs and leads the product development transformation strategy for AI with oversight of program status, strategy, and vision.
  • Acts as an AI coach for the organization—including proactive teaching, coaching, mentoring, and improving generative AI practices across the organization.   
  • Collaborates with other managers to establish strategic plans and objectives.
  • Looks for ways to strengthen the team’s understanding of generative AI, e.g., AI usage patterns and anti-patterns across all relevant job descriptions and functions.  
  • Coach and train senior leadership on generative AI concepts and principles.
  • Leads the AI Transformation Office to promote the successful leverage of AI to accelerate the organization, by engaging leaders and stakeholders and providing progress update to leadership.
  • Support AI Transformation Office coaches and teams by providing strategic guidance, impediment escalation and resolution, and thought partnership.
  • Establish and monitor metrics of success for AI coaching, scaling, and enablement.
  • May perform other job duties as assigned. 

What you’ll need to have:

  • Minimum of 12 years of experience in software engineering or product development leadership. 
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in a leadership role managing a cross-functional team. 
  • Previous experience with advanced generative AI in large organizations. 
  • Familiarity with models, RAG architectures, completion API’s, and state of the art progress on tooling used by developers required.

What would be nice for you to have:   

  • Bachelor's degree. 
  • Demonstrated experience coaching organizations on AI best practices, expert in all topics involving SDLC improvements and experience working at the leadership level.
  • Deep understanding of Development Methods/Philosophy including the Agile mindset, and how to incorporate AI into these.
  • Significant experience acting as a agile coach and leader in a fast-moving tech environment.
  • Experience leading and development tool transformation/adoption.
  • Stakeholder Management.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, decision-making, communication, and analytical skills.
