We are seeking a seasoned Content Marketing Strategist with a strong background in financial technology to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 10 years of experience in marketing, with at least 4 years dedicated to fintech. As a Content Marketing Strategist, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing content strategies that drive brand awareness, engagement, and conversion within the financial technology sector.
This position can be based remotely throughout the U.S.
What you'll be responsible for:
- Content Strategy Development: Create and implement comprehensive content marketing strategies tailored to the fintech industry, ensuring alignment with company goals and brand identity.
- Content Creation & Management: Oversee the creation, curation, and distribution of high-quality, relevant, and engaging content across various platforms (blogs, social media, webinars, whitepapers, etc.).
- Market Research & Analysis: Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs within the fintech industry, translating findings into actionable content strategies.
- Campaign Management: Plan, execute, and manage content marketing campaigns aimed at driving traffic, engagement, and lead generation.
- Performance Measurement: Utilize analytics tools to measure and analyze content performance, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Collaboration & Leadership: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product marketing, design, and sales, to ensure cohesive and effective content delivery. Mentor and guide junior content team members.
- May perform other job duties as assigned.
What you'll need to have:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience working in a strategic marketing capacity.
- 4+ years specifically in financial services marketing.
- Proven experience as a Content Strategist, Content Marketer, or similar role in a marketing environment.
- Budget management and/or forecasting experience.
What would be nice for you to have:
- Ability to think strategically and translate business objectives and audience needs into effective content strategies.
- Strong understanding of content management systems (CMS), SEO principles, and digital marketing tools.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative ideas and solutions to marketing challenges.
