Our Enterprise Risk Management department is seeking a Risk Analyst to join a dynamic and innovative team. You will work as part of a team supporting and guiding business lines across the enterprise to identify and assess risk from top-down and bottom-up perspectives. You will work to document risks and controls, review exceptions, perform assessments, assist with fraud awareness surveys and campaigns, advise on best practices, and provide input as the business innovates. The ERM team is responsible for assessing strategic, operational, compliance and financial risk domains.
This position will work on a hybrid basis out of one of the following locations: Springfield/Monett, MO; Lenexa, KS; Allen, TX; Louisville, KY. You would be required to come to the office approximately once a month for meetings and can work from home the remainder of the time; however, you must live within 200 miles of one of these locations. Travel may be up to 5% for occasional business meetings or trainings. Salary range for this position is $52-75k, depending on candidate experience and geographic location.
What you’ll be responsible for:
- Partner with senior leadership on the evaluation of existing processes and use growing industry experience to appropriately address control gaps and assess, monitor, and report on risks.
- Partner with business units and control functions across the organization to align the identification, evaluation and reporting of risk to develop a comprehensive view of risk.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the timely completion of risk-related deliverables, issue resolution, implementation of improvements and that obligations have been met.
- Ensure business units understand and are communicating key risks affecting their respective operations.
- Continually provide insights on emerging risks and potential solutions to address gaps in risk coverage.
- Evaluate the risks associated with the use of third parties within the company against best practices and regulatory guidance relating to vendor management.
- Supports business units with moderate complexity.
- May perform other job duties as assigned.
What you’ll need to have:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in enterprise risk management.
- Experience utilizing Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) tools (e.g. Archer).
- Experience with financial services or financial transactions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
What would be nice for you to have:
- Certified Enterprise Risk Professional (CERP), Certified Risk Manager (CRM), Governance, Risk and Compliance Professional (GRCP) or similar risk management certification.
- Experience creating and implementing enterprise risk frameworks.
- Bachelor's degree.
