As a Corporate Strategy Analyst, Intern, you will join a team of accomplished analysts and strategy leaders. Jack Henry's Corporate Strategy Team provides industry research and recommendations to C-Suite and line of business leadership to drive, unify, and evangelize enterprise. Jack Henry's Corporate Strategy Team delivers market intelligence and advisory to benefit the enterprise, customers, and the primary market we serve (banks and credit unions). You will join a dynamic team that values diverse perspectives, curiosity, and teamwork, always encouraging one another to push boundaries and grow.
Through this internship, you will have a strong platform to launch your career. You will inform enterprise and product strategy through research-driven insights. In addition, you will gain an in-depth understanding of the company's various business units and supporting functions and gain valuable insight into the competitive landscape and market trends associated with our business. The chosen candidate will partner at multiple levels within Jack Henry to plan and execute strategic projects (e.g., strategic gap analysis, competitive intelligence, fintech landscape trends and fintech profiles). This position reports directly to the Sr. Director of Corporate Strategic Planning and Initiatives.
Program Details
Duration: June 2 – August 8, 2025
Location: Remote or On-Site (San Diego, Allen)
Pay: $25.00/hour
What you’ll be responsible for:
- Conducting analysis of complex information to assist in the identification of the company strengths, weaknesses, and business opportunities.
- Performing fintech/vendor evaluations to inform build/buy/partner/invest recommendations
- Tracking and analyzing market data to identify trends/opportunities mapped against enterprise strengths/weaknesses.
- Recommending strategic direction from market information.
- Creating compelling research presentations/briefings for executives and business units.
What you’ll need to have:
- Enrolled at an accredited university.
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration and Management, or Marketing and Communications
- Ability to work 40 hours per week throughout the duration of the internship program (June 2- August 8, 2025).
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis without the need for sponsorship from Jack Henry.
What would be nice for you to have:
- Academic or working experience with MS Office Suite
- A basic understanding of banks and credit unions and the financial technology industry
- A passion and excitement for cross-collaboration and group work.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to self-direct and manage projects, interact and build relationships across the organization at different levels of seniority.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze, evaluate, and form independent judgments and think creatively.
