Procurement Manager

Procurement Manager will be joining our Finance-Corporate Procurement team and their mission is to establish strategic thinking in all procurement efforts, resulting in responsible stewardship of company resources, customer-focused services, innovative suppliers, streamlining of business processes while maintaining company compliance, with a sustainability and diversity focus. In this role, you will drive efficiency and effectiveness, deliver operational excellence, reduce costs, drive business profitability, and mitigate Company’s risk in third party relationships associated with the purchases. We are looking for a dynamic, self-driven leader with expert-level knowledge in Category Management, Strategic sourcing, Supplier & Contract management. This position is hybrid and will require you to come into the office as requested for team meetings and collaboration sessions.  The position will be filled to work out of one of the following Jack Henry office locations: Springfield, MO / Monett, MO / Allen, TX or Lenexa, KS.  We have corporate flight shuttles you can take to travel conveniently between the office locations.

This position will have a salary range of $86,464 – 105,000 based on experience and location

What you'll be responsible for: 

• Leads the activities of a team of buyers to accomplish company objectives.
• Reviews and approves company purchases up to a specified dollar amount.
• Ensures adherence to policies and procedures for the operation of procurement activities.
• Manages activities related to the procurement of large item fixed asset acquisitions (i.e. PCs, laptops, servers, vehicles, copiers, and postage equipment).
• Administers corporate systems for financial and contractual purposes with a focus on processes and workflow operation.
• Manages P2P solution and ERP Platforms.
• Prepares and reviews spend analytics.
• Manages lease assessments, acquisitions, and terminations (equipment).
• Administers Financial, Contractual and Workflow tools as utilized by procurement.
• Monitors the cost, schedule, and performance aspects of major subcontracts.   
• May negotiate major contracts involving large dollar amounts. 
• May perform other duties as assigned.

What you'll need to have: 

• A minimum of 7 years of combination experience in any of the following areas: sourcing, procurement, procure to pay or supply chain field.
• Leadership experience in any of the following roles:  supervisor and/or staff manager.
• Experience in management of key elements of a Procure-To-Pay (P2P) process.
• High competence with spend and data analytics.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
• Outstanding cross-functional team collaboration skills.
• Ability to travel up to 10% to attend Jack Henry meetings, trainings, and/or professional conferences.

What would be nice for you to have: 

• Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain, or Business Administration. 
• Experience with implementation of the modernized P2P solution and ERP platform.
• Skilled in Change Management.
• Experience in ServiceNow and Salesforce/Conga Contract Lifecycle Management or similar systems administration.
• Experience working in agile methodologies.
