Senior Managing Director- Credit Union Solutions

This position directs and controls all operational activities for the Credit Union Solutions organization specific to hardware, hosting and application support, project efforts, product research, consulting, training and customer satisfaction. Directs the product group to ensure the attainment of profit and operational goals. Establishes product strategy, objectives and policies, in accordance with corporate directives. Accountable for profit/loss and attainment of current and long-range objectives.
This is a remote position, and candidates must live within approximately a 70-mile radius of our office locations in Allen, TX; Birmingham, AL; Cedar Falls, IA; Charlotte, NC; Lenexa, KS; Louisville, KY; Springfield, MO; or Monett, MO.

What you’ll be responsible for:
- Creates an environment that encourages exceptional user experiences for our credit union clients.
- Establishes strategic direction for Credit Union Solutions Operations. Applies strong credit union industry knowledge to ensure strategic objectives are aligned with industry needs.
- Evaluates achievement of the objectives.
- Directs and controls the activities and ensures the offerings provided meet the needs of credit unions through several managers leading 200+ associates within the company.
- Through subordinate managers, drives operational performance in the implementation and support of product offering. Ensures attainment of customer satisfaction goals.
- Participating in industry events on behalf of the company.
- Collaborating with business leaders across the company to provide a cohesive experience for clients and associates.
- Participates in sales and marketing activities to create demand for products. Meets with prospective clients and participates in negotiations.
- Identifies strategic business opportunities such as joint ventures and alliance/partnerships.
- Establishes annual budgets for the product group and monitors progress throughout the year, ensuring continued profitability.
- Participates with other senior managers to establish strategic plans and objectives.
- Makes final decisions on administrative or operational matters and ensures operations' effective achievement of objectives.
- Participates in corporate development of methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for projects, programs and people.
- Regularly interacts with executives and/or major customers; interactions frequently involve skills such as negotiating or influencing matters of significance to the organization.
- Has overall control of planning, staffing, budgeting, managing expense priorities, and recommending and implementing changes to methods.
- May perform other duties as assigned.
What you’ll need to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in client services
- Significant leadership experience required.

- Directs and controls the activities of one or more functional and service areas through senior managers who have overall responsibility for the successful operation of those assigned areas.
- Develops corporate and/or organizational policies and authorizes their implementation.
- Provides strategy and direction for major areas.
- Possesses detailed knowledge of company allowing for promotion of innovative concepts and new ideas. Requires in-depth knowledge of functional area, business strategies and the company's goals.
- Interacts internally and externally with executive level management, requiring negotiation of extremely critical matters. Influences policymaking. Recognized as an influential leader.
- Direct report to VP with budget responsibility for multiple functions.. Incumbent seen as “heir apparent” to the VP role.
- Possesses deep knowledge of the credit union industry.
- Able to manage a profitable product group with positive customer and employee satisfaction results.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills including the ability to identify, communicate and execute the strategic direction of the product.
- Process-oriented with superior time and project management skills.
- Must be able travel for planned activities and events.
