About The Program
This is a 10-week program that begins June 3, 2019. This is a paid opportunity where a college student learns through application. JHA interns are fully immersed in the day to day activities of the business unit they are working in. Throughout the duration of the program, students will build upon their current skillsets and work in a collaborative environment while learning from subject matter experts across the organization. JHA Corporate Interns will participate in projects and company objectives that will result in creative solutions that inspire innovation both at JHA and across the FinTech industry.
The program kicks off with an orientation that will allow students to learn more about JHA’s award-winning company culture and three brands – Jack Henry Banking, Symitar, and ProfitStars. The internship will end with a trip to the corporate headquarters and a student led presentation. This presentation is an opportunity for all interns to showcase their internship experience with other JHA Associate’s.
The iPay QA group at JHA is seeking a technical-minded, yet creative student for their Corporate Internship Program. This group loves innovative ideas and enjoys collaboration, while having FUN!
Working in the iPay Quality Assurance team as a Test Automation Engineer Intern will provide a college student with working knowledge in adhering to current automation strategies and JHA best practices. Through utilizing a production like environment, a student will create and run automated load tests to identify maximum operating capacities of an application, as well as any bottlenecks while identifying which element is causing degradation.
This intern will have exposure to all facets of the iPay product group. The chosen student will be exposed to both consumer and business bill-pay products, multiples APIs, internal support apps such as: BP Support, MASTER and iPay Portal, third party integrations, and integrations with JHA and external cores.
In addition, the Corporate Intern will also be immersed in projects that pertain to coding, agile practices, SQL queries, and various test methodologies.
- Attend an accredited college or university.
- Pursue a bachelor’s degree in: Computer Science, Computer Information Science, Software Engineering, Computer Systems Administration, Programming, or Web/Mobile Development.
- Have a cumulative 3.0 GPA.
- Remain in good academic standing throughout internship.
- Meet JHA employment requirements.
- Be able to work up to 40 hours per week throughout the summer internship.
- Be able to travel 25% of the time.
- Be a junior or senior student (sophomore year completed) at the beginning of internship.
- Meet legal requirements to work in the U.S. for an indefinite period of time.
