About The Program
This is a 10-week program that begins June 3, 2019. This is a paid opportunity where a college student learns through application. JHA interns are fully immersed in the day to day activities of the business unit they are working in. Throughout the duration of the program, students will build upon their current skillsets and work in a collaborative environment while learning from subject matter experts across the organization. JHA Corporate Interns will participate in projects and company objectives that will result in creative solutions that inspire innovation both at JHA and across the FinTech industry.
The program kicks off with an orientation that will allow students to learn more about JHA’s award-winning company culture and three brands – Jack Henry Banking, Symitar, and ProfitStars. The internship will end with a trip to the corporate headquarters and a student led presentation. This presentation is an opportunity for all interns to showcase their internship experience with other JHA Associate’s.

Internship Description
JHA’s ImageCenter Education team is seeking a detail-oriented, creative, self-starter to join the team as a Corporate Intern for Summer 2019. This team is responsible for training JHA clients on the ProfitStars ImageCenter product line; which is a suite of check deposit processing solutions that are sold into all three JHA brands. The responsibilities of  lively team include: training and documentation design, development, and delivery.
An intern will assist the Education team with completing training guides for both technical and user sessions. The participating college students will gain experience working in a virtual server environment and gain understanding of JHA installations, databases, security and permissions, configurations, business processes, and requirements as it relates to the ImageCenter application and needs of specific FI’s.
This opportunity is highly interactive and collaborative; therefore, a college student should have attention to detail, a willingness to learn, and be accountable. The chosen candidate can expect to participate in both team and client meetings, as well as lead a variety of meetings pertaining to clients and project kick-offs. A student will also be expected to deliver weekly training sessions to all groups -strong public speaking and presentation skills is preferred.

Minimum Qualifications
Students Must:

  • Attend an accredited college or university.
  • Pursue a bachelor’s degree in: Communications, Organizational Leadership and Change Management, Professional and Technical Writing, Advertising and Public Relations, or Strategic Communications.
  • Have a cumulative 3.0 GPA.
  • Remain in good academic standing throughout internship.
  • Meet JHA employment requirements.
  • Be able to work up to 40 hours per week throughout the summer internship.
  • Be able to travel up to 25% of the time.
  • Be a junior or senior student (sophomore year completed) at the beginning of internship.
  • Meet legal requirements to work in the U.S. for an indefinite period of time.
