About the Program
Our 10-week, paid Corporate Internship Program begins June 3, 2019. This program offers college students the opportunity to learn through application and fully immerse in the day-to-day activities of the business unit they are working in. Throughout the program, students will build upon their current skillsets and work in a collaborative environment, while learning from subject matter experts across the organization. They will participate in projects that work toward company objectives that will result in creative solutions and inspire innovation both at JHA and across the fintech industry.
Our program kicks off with New Employee Orientation that will allow students to learn more about JHA’s award-winning company culture and three brands – Jack Henry Banking®, Symitar®, and ProfitStars®. The internship program will conclude with a trip to our corporate headquarters and a student-led presentation to JHA Associates. This showcase provides interns with an opportunity to share who they are, what they’ve learned, and what they loved most about their time with us.
The Internet Solutions Architecture department provides JHA with architectural guidance and best practices for the NetTeller suite of products. This department’s goal is to reduce the risk in delivering complex software solutions. Duties include software development standards & best practices, code reviews, architectural reviews, architectural roadmaps, managing the source code build process, and working with key internal and external partners and vendors.
This department is seeking a creative, multi-faceted and dynamic student. A qualified candidate will aid in bridging the gap between user needs and software needs. Included in this team is the Treasury Management Software Engineering group. Within TM Software Engineering, there are three sub-groups: Backend Dev, UX Dev, and Design.
- Attend an accredited college or university.
- Pursue a bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Digital Design, Human-Computer Interaction or Graphic Design.
- Have a cumulative 3.0 GPA.
- Remain in good academic standing throughout internship.
- Meet JHA employment requirements.
- Be able to work up to 40 hours per week throughout the summer internship and travel up to 25% of the time.
- Be a junior or senior student (sophomore year completed) at the beginning of internship.
- Meet legal requirements to work in the U.S. for an indefinite period of time.
