We are seeking a Strategic Project Manager who will support company-wide initiatives focused on product and program development. This individual would be working under the corporate Project Management Office on new product builds and integrations across all our groups and business units. In this exciting and challenging role, candidates will plan and execute product integration projects, new product development projects and process improvement projects. This Project Manager will need to possess the ability to interact, gain buy-in and form a matrix project team from across the organization to successfully complete projects. The projects that this individual will manage will be working with teams at the cutting edge of Jack Henry, utilizing ever-evolving emerging technologies. Flexibility and a streak of curiosity are must-haves!

This position can be based to work out of any Jack Henry office or remotely from any US location.

What you'll be responsible for: 

• Manage the development and implementation of new or upgraded products and/or manage the creation and implementation of corporate processes.
• Coordinate departmental or cross-functional teams, focused on delivering new or upgraded products or corporate processes. 
• Manages strategic program(s) made up of multiple related projects or workstreams to deliver outcomes and deliverables strategic to the organization. 
• Organize cross-functional activities, ensuring completion of the project/program is on schedule and within budget constraints.
• Provide mentoring and support to other project managers in dealing with project management issues for their assigned projects.
• Demonstrate excellent project management skills.
• Assist less experienced peers.
• May perform other job duties as assigned.

What you'll need to have: 

• A minimum of 9 years of project management experience working specifically within the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Experience working in Agile environments.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to travel up to 10% to attend JH meetings, trainings, and/or professional conferences.

What would be nice for you to have: 

• Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or SAFe certification.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Information Systems or Project Management. 
• Ability to manage complex new product development, large initiatives, and systems integrations.
• Experience in a role of a Release Train Engineer (RTE) or Program Manager.
