Senior Project Manager : Credit Union Solutions, Core Implementations

This project management position will reside under the Credit Union Solutions Project Management office. The Credit Union Solutions PMO oversees multiple types of clients facing implementation projects. These client facing projects have high visibility in the organization and require cross functional internal and external team facilitation.
This position requires up to 30% travel for client implementation engagements, meetings, and trainings. This position can be worked remotely within the United States.
What you’ll be responsible for:
- Coordinates and monitors field support projects from initiation through delivery.
- Serves as liaison between the company and customer in order to ensure all implementation requirements and targets are met.
- Serves as liaison between technical and non-technical departments in order to ensure all targets and requirements are met.
- Ensures projects are completed on schedule.
- Creates, updates and maintains all implementation calendars.
- Monitors and tracks all escalated issues to resolution.
- Assists in the implementation of project management tools and methodologies.
- Assists in the creation of standard templates for project management deliverables.
- Provides mentoring and support to other project managers in dealing with project management issues for assigned projects.
- Assists less experienced peers.
- May perform other job duties as assigned.
What you’ll need to have:
- Minimum of six years of experience in project management.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or in process.
- Must be able to travel up to 30%.
What would be nice for you to have:
- A wide range of experience with the ability to resolve complex issues. Experience working on complex and diverse projects exercising good judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining solutions.
- Excellent knowledge and skills in the following areas:
- Completes successful product implementations that are on schedule and receive high customer satisfaction results.
- Meets aggressive deadlines.
- Identifies and resolves issues.
- Works with personnel resources in an effective and efficient manner.
- Functions in and successfully manages demanding and stressful environments.
- Applies project management life cycle processes and company policies and procedures to resolve complex issues.
- Manages multiple projects at a time.
- Interacts with senior internal and external personnel.
- Communication and customer interaction skills.
- Project management skills.
- Knowledge of Jack Henry product(s) supported and basic knowledge of other JH products.
- Knowledge and experience of the project management body of knowledge.
- Strong knowledge of the financial industry including Symitar experience.
