Administrative Sales Support Representative

Job Description

Jack Henry is seeking an Administrative Sales Support Representative who will perform administrative duties for professionals within the sales department.  The successful candidate will format (using templates and styles in Microsoft Word) Requests for Proposal (RFPs) relating to new and existing customers, load formatted documents into a tool used to complete the RFP, and assign the questions to RFP Analysts.  This job also entails scheduling product demonstrations, conference calls, and Webinars as requested by the sales representatives.  This individual will work closely with the corporate travel department to ensure team members are able to travel between opportunities with adequate time in between.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 1 years of administrative assistant experience in fast paced corporate environment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3 years of administrative assistant experience in fast paced corporate environment.
  • Familiarity with Qvidian Proposal Automation System
  • Corporate Contract experience
  • Experience working in the financial services industry.
  • Experience supporting a sales team. 
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility for extended work hours, when necessary
  • Highly proficient computer skills needed with Windows, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Strongly detail oriented

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Provides administrative support by formatting RFP documents for entry into our RFP Database system.
  • Assigns RFP sections to appropriate team members
  • Coordinates internal and external activities required to ensure high quality product delivery, with attention to detail.
  • Coordinates resources for conference calls, demos, tradeshows, webinars, and more
  • Answers telephone, conveys messages, and performs miscellaneous duties.
