Corporate Instructional Design Specialist

SUMMARY

Jack Henry’s Corporate Learning Solutions (CLS) team has an exciting opportunity available for a Corporate Instructional Design Specialist! The CLS team provides training and developmental opportunities for Jack Henry employees. The corporate instructional design specialist will design, develop, and assess learning solutions that are focused on technical and/or soft skills for various functional areas within JHA. The instructional design specialist will utilize their knowledge of instructional design methodology to understand the learning needs of the organization and address the impact, success, and opportunities for improvement of general business needs. The instructional design specialist will also work closely with SMEs and engage the rest of the Learning & Development team as needed. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

18 months experience in Instructional Design, Graphic Design or Corporate Training.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Proficient in Adobe Captivate
  • Able to meet aggressive deadlines.
  • General project management and communication skills.
  • Able to use department specific products to develop, evaluate, and maintain educational materials.
  • Strong knowledge of PC, classroom environments, and MS Office Tools.
  • Able to balance and prioritize multiple demands from various stakeholders.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Develops, designs, and evaluates appropriate training sessions according to department specifications and needs.
  • Collects and reviews technical inputs required of education projects and works with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to make necessary adjustments.
  • Maintains education files and file hierarchy according to department specifications.
  • Analyzes specific needs of education development projects.
