Applications Analyst (Teller Software)

Job Description

SUMMARY

Jack Henry & Associates seeks to hire a motivated, passionate, and focused candidate to join our team of Application Analysts for our Core Director Teller Product.  Core Director Teller allows financial institutions that are utilizing our Core Director Teller Platform to process teller transactions for their clients, and complete other teller functions within a single application.  The Application Analyst will be working directly with banking customers, serving as a liaison between our Core Director Teller clients and our development team to educate, assist, document, and troubleshoot issues as it relates to the Core Director Teller Product.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 18 months of work or education experience working in a technical support, operations or training.
  • Must be able to work an on-call rotation.
  • Position may also require up to 10% overnight travel.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Prior teller software support experience a big plus
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to details
  • Ability to be self-motivated and work independently.  

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Consults with customers to define parameters within the software application.
  • Trains the customer on use and feature functionality of the application.
  • Communicates the customer’s needs/expectations to appropriate personnel.
  • Research, define, and trouble shoot any application issues and if necessary notify appropriate personnel.
  • Analyze transaction processing.
  • May assist customers in validating accurate conversion of all data.
  • May provide remote or on-site software installation services and ensure software applications are installed and fully functional.
