Hiring Locations: Springfield, MO / Monett, MO / Troy, MI and or Remote

Synergy is a leading provider of Enterprise Content Management (ECM) solutions and provides a complete suite of ECM tools to over 1,400 financial institutions with primary targeted financial sectors in the traditional JHA base being domestic U.S. banks and credit unions of all asset sizes (de novo to mid-tier). Those outside the base include banks and credit unions outside of the U.S. market, non-JHA core customers, insurance, mortgage, hospital, colleges and universities, construction, and retail. The solution set includes a very robust and scalable image archive wrapped by a number of modules including: Document Management, Reports, eSign, eSignWeb, AdvancedPDF, eMailAssist, DataMart Export, eDistribution, API Integration Toolkit, PowerSearch and Check Archive.

The Product Management Manager will manage team size of 2 that are distributed cross different Jack Henry office locations.  You will manage the activities of directing the research, development, and implementation of new products and enhancements for the Synergy Product, while managing a small team of Product Managers.  Must be able to meet aggressive deadlines and handle multiple and complex projects.  Strong communication and presentation skills are required.

Strong leadership, organizational, analytical, and decision-making skills (must be collaborative and decisive).  Must be able to use independent judgment to plan, prioritize and organize a diversified workload strong project management skills and problem-solving capabilities are a must.    You will be required to travel up to 25% and at times it may be with a short notice to attend additional training, conferences, trade shows and be onsite at various Jack Henry & Associates customer locations.  In addition, this person will be required to present the Synergy Roadmap to Synergy Customers, Advisory Board members and others while attending multiple JHA conferences per year. 

Synergy has integration points with a large variety of other JHA products as well as over 30 non-JHA products, thus Integration is a key to Synergy’s growth. Synergy Product Management is also responsible for vendor relationships with products sold as Synergy products and software components embedded in Synergy.  If you are interested in this position please apply on or before June 24, 2017.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must have a minimum of 7 years of leadership experience.
  • Must be able to travel up to 25% and at times it may be with a short notice to attend additional training, conferences, trade shows and be onsite at various Jack Henry & Associates customer locations.

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • Experience in Enterprise Content Management is preferred
  • Product management experience
  • Understanding of Agile processes – writing of EPICS and User Stories
  • Understanding of R&D / QA general processes and workflow
  • Synergy product knowledge is preferred.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Directs the development of company market requirements for specific product(s) or product line(s), including product strategy definition, requirements analysis, and pricing.
  • Responsible for management & oversight of a small team of Product Managers
  • Lead Roadmap meetings, presenting to all other Synergy Business Units, with the overall vision and future plans of the product
  • Oversees market research and the creation of product requirements and specifications, to be passed to R&D for future consideration and development of code
  • Monitors the development of business plans, managing lifecycles and product positioning in the marketplace.
  • Leads new product definition and business plans with joint departments – must be Strategic and Tactical
  • Interacts with Research & Development, Quality Assurance, Operations, Sales and Marketing to enhance Synergy, and deliver new products and releases to market.
  • Meets with customers to identify future product needs and requirements
  • Manages the Synergy pricing strategy and analysis, and communications to Sales Support
  • Manages all 3rd party relationships, and negotiates all terms and conditions of our new and existing partner agreements.
  • Oversees and manages all major product release activities including recurring launch meetings, change control board meetings, betas, Enhancement Submission Process (ESP), pricing, Sales readiness and Marketing requirements.
  • Presents roadmap updates at all JHA conferences and routinely to the Synergy Advisory Board
  • Monitors competitive activity, identifies customer needs and incorporates gaps into the Roadmap
  • May manage other business functions related to the specific product(s) or product line(s)
