Financial Systems Analyst (Hyperion)

Jack Henry & Associates, Inc. a leading provider of technology solutions and payment processing services primarily for the financial services industry is seeking a Financial Systems Analyst for our Finance / Hyperion team. The Financial Systems Analyst designs, develops, maintains, and enhances computerized finance-related systems.  The successful candidate must be a self-starter in demonstrating the ability to problem solve within financial systems both independently and in a team environment as well as juggle the changing demands of a fast-paced business environment.

The position will administer the Hyperion Planning application used to prepare the forecast and budget for the company as well as support its end users.  Strong communication and interpersonal skills is necessary as you are supporting non-technical internal customers. Must possess prior experience in supporting confidential compensation and financial data.  If you are interested in this position, please apply on or before August 21, 2018.

The position can be based in one of the following office locations: Allen, TX / Lenexa, KS / Monett, MO and or Springfield, MO.


  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Financial Systems Analyst or Business Analyst.
  • Must have Hyperion experience.
  • Must be able to travel up to 25% to other Jack Henry office location for additional training, meetings and or to attend a professional conference.


  • General knowledge of computer information systems; possesses the ability to understand and translate user requirements for technical teams.
  • Experience in software administration and support.
  • General knowledge of the financial industry.
  • Ability to run reports using the computer information system as needed.
  • Previous experience with Hyperion Planning and/or Workforce Planning a plus.


  • Performs application testing as needed for new system functionality.
  • Interacts with technical teams to convey business requirements.
  • May assist less experienced peers.
  • Designs, develops, maintains, and enhances computerized finance-related systems.
  • Ensures that financial modules are working effectively and efficiently and proper security is in place.
  • Prepares data sets, statistical reports, and computer applications to support financial analysis work.
