Gladiator provides comprehensive services that include around-the-clock management, correlation, and monitoring of multiple security layers specifically designed and developed for financial institutions to safeguard information assets, IT infrastructures, and business continuity by identifying and addressing internal and external security breaches. Gladiator is seeking an Network Security Engineer Manager to join our Security Operations Center team. This position will only be filled out of Springfield, MO and or Alpharetta, GA.  Travel may be up to 10% to meet employees, attend meetings and you may potentially attend a professional conference.

The environment you will be managing includes: Cisco, SonicWall and Fortinet firewall platforms. In addition to monitoring security events of these platforms, you will also be responsible for providing security monitoring for Windows/Active Directory related events.  The last piece of the monitoring services, would include fraud protection and alerting on our core and internet banking products.  The Manager we are looking for should possess strong interpersonal skills and have strengths in motivating their team as you will provide development and training to your staff of 12 employees. You should have experience with performance appraisals, interviewing and hiring practices. If you are interested in this position, please apply on or before July 16, 2018.


  • Must have a minimum of 7 years combination experience in any of the following categories: Information Technology, and or Information Security.
  • Must have previous experience in managing employees.


  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or GIAC Security Expert (GSE) or equivalent, preferred.
  • Demonstrated understanding of network communications and information security practices is preferred.


  • Leads various operational activities such as systems monitoring and troubleshooting, alert and incident response and security testing.
  • Oversees the operation and design of various network monitoring systems and tools.
  • Oversees the installation and configuration of network security components. Oversees the creation and ongoing maintenance of documentation, processes and procedures.
  • Ensures escalated security cases are resolved and completed timely.
  • Researches and keeps abreast on current security trends and mitigation tools.
