Jack Henry & Associates’ 4|sight - Check Imaging Solutions business unit under the ProfitStars brand has an opening for a Senior Application Analyst.  If you have an item and image processing background, back office operations or technology background in a Financial Institution, this position may be a great match for you!  This role is a customer facing position where you will be gathering information and building a database solution for banks or item processing centers using the 4|sight Image Solution to capture confidential checking information, print statements, and key and balance work.  The confidential checking information is processed electronically or through branch captured scanning devices. The Application Analyst must be able to work flexible hours and will provide support for their assigned projects. Travel is up to 75% for providing onsite support for the project and to do information collection which would be used to build and configure the customer’s database at various JHA client locations (domestic and foreign travel is possible). Travel will include traveling out on a weekend and you may work through a weekend.  This position will be hired to work out of the Springfield, MO / Monett, MO / and or Allen, TX office. 

The 4|sight Installation Item Classification Editors (ICE) Team consists of 11 members.  The environment you will work in is Microsoft Windows OS based (SQL, Windows Server, Windows 7 and higher).  The level of technical expertise and support is tier III.  Any prior experience with Microsoft SQL Server and or SQL querying is highly preferred.

The Application Analyst, Senior is responsible for all aspects of designing, building, modifying, and supporting the Item Classification Editors (ICE) and configuration settings for Jack Henry & Associates’ 4|sight product for existing In-House and OutLink Item Processing customers. This role ensures the successful completion of each project as assigned and within the time allotted. You will be in communication with the customer during each project either onsite, phone and or email.  It is important that you possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.  The 4|sight Installation Team has very aggressive goals and deadlines to meet so the individual we are seeking must be a self-starter and willing to learn and continue to increase their knowledge of the JHA products and how they work with each other.  If you are interested in this position, please apply on or before March 28, 2018.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must have a minimum of 6 years of experience in a financial institution or financial services industry. 
  • Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in banking operations.
  • Must be able travel up to 75% for providing onsite support for the project and to do information collection which would be used to build and configure the customer’s database at various JHA client locations (domestic and foreign travel is possible). Travel will include traveling out on a weekend and you may work through a weekend.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree is preferred
  • SQL school and or work experience is preferred
  • 4|sight experience is preferred
  • Microsoft Windows OS experience is preferred
  • Microsoft Office experience is preferred.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Provides remote or on-site software installation services.  Ensures software applications are installed and fully functional.
  • Prior to the installation, analyzes the customers’ existing products and consults with customer to map current system to the JHA product.
  • Consults with customers to define parameters within the software application.
  • Trains the customer on use and feature functionality of the application.
  • Communicates the customer’s needs/expectations to appropriate personnel. 
  • Notifies appropriate personnel of any application issues.
  • Interacts with Project Manager on various issues.
  • May assist customers in validating accurate conversion of all data.
  • May analyze transaction processing.
  • Mentors and provides training to employees.
  • Contributes to process and efficiency improvements.
  • May assist less experienced peers.
