Job Description

Jack Henry & Associates is seeking a C# Programmer Analyst to join our team in Birmingham, AL. In this role, you will be supporting customizations and bug fixes for two applications: iTalk and iTouch. Additionally, you will be tasked with special projects and may assist the development team with some coding. The ideal candidate will have experience within the .Net framework as well as experience with web design.

About Our Team

InTouch & iTalk Voice Response strives to exceed expectations when providing training, implementation, support, and release services to our clients.  Our Telephone Banking product provide a key service channel to allow clients' customers to self-serve and reduce call volume to the financial institution's call center or branch personnel.  Features like balance inquiries, funds transfers, and dynamic call routing will allow the client to take advantage of these services without needing a physical person to walk them thru it.


  • Minimum of 18 months of classroom or professional experience in programming.
  • Must have experience with C#/.Net programming


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems.
  • Experience with web design
  • Understanding in experience with TSQL or MS SQL Server.
  • Prior experience with system administration.


  • Develops programming code for new and/or existing software enhancements. 
  • Devises block diagrams, logic procedures and prepares flowcharting.
  • Troubleshoots and debugs existing code.
  • Tests code and fixes to ensure quality.
  • Develops conversion and system implementation plans; implements newly created code and fixes into existing software.
  • Provides programming support for various interfaces.
  • Keeps customers informed of all enhancements, troubleshooting, and fixes; may assist the customer in determining if and how system enhancements may improve process flow and business function.   
  • Creates all programming documentation; may include defining the system and functional requirements of the product
  • May complete project bids and/or work effort estimates. Interacts with customers to gather system requirements.
