Job Description

Jack Henry & Associates is seeking the motivated, the driven, and the passionate to join our Lending Solutions team as a Technical Business Analyst for the ProfitStars brand.  Lending Solutions Group has a product suite called Commercial Lending Center Suite (CLCS) that provides a platform to support commercial underwriting, analysis and portfolio management. The software platform is a MS .NET web application.   This position will be hired to work Remote and or out of Longwood, FL.  Travel is possibly up to 15% and that would consist of 2 to 3 days onsite. You may also be required to attend in the Jack Henry annual conference and based on business needs you may need to go onsite to client location for training assistance.

The Technical Business Analyst is responsible for gathering business requirements dealing with financial spreading and analysis, writing functional specifications, and maintaining and developing financial spreading industry templates.  They would be the product expert and suggest new features and enhancements, as well as develop custom and industry specific templates (such as customized traditional cash flow statements) for customers as needed.

The Technical Business analyst is a product specialist in with specialized expertise in financial spreading and will act as second level support for this specialized area.  They would also provide training of financial spreading during the implementation process. Finally, they would assist and coordinate the conversions of data required for customers migrating from another system.  The Technical Business Analyst also contributes to the software development process by ensuring complete and accurate documentation of system requirementsServes as a liaison between customers and development departments during the product development phase.  If you are interested in this position, please apply on or before February 20, 2018.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance related type degree.
  • Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Commercial Credit Analyst or have a combination experience as a Commercial Credit Analyst and Loan Officer.

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Previous business analyst is preferred.
  • Project Management experience is preferred

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Interacts with customers to gather system requirements.
  • Defines the system and functional requirements of the product.
  • Prepares business requirements and functional specifications.
  • Serves as a resource and/or participant in business process re-design activities. Assists the customer in determining if and how system enhancements may improve process flow and business function.
  • May perform application, system and regression tests.
  • Responsible for creating business requirements and system documentation, as well as contributing to end-user and project management documentation.
  • Works with quality assurance and programming teams to ensure changes are migrated into production correctly.
  • Interacts with technical teams to convey business requirements.
  • Works with industry research groups to prepare for product trends.
