Are you a Systems Support Engineer with a passion for Cloud based Solutions?  Look no further, Gladiator Newtwork Service business unit in ProfitStars brand at Jack Henry & Associates is looking to hire a Systems Engineer to join our hosted solutions group. Gladiator is known for providing all of its Jack Henry branded clients with top tier network, system and cloud technologies as well as an excellent customer experience.  This position will be filled out of Springfield, MO and or Remote.  Travel is up to 5% travel to attend additional training and or a conference.

We are looking for individuals who are self-motivated and love to work closely with our clients and develop strong relationships with their team members. You will work with a team of 11 Engineers that are distributed across various Jack Henry locations.  The technical environment you will support is Windows Server based: utilize VMware / Cloud Solutions / Network Storage and Backup Solutions. Additional experience in providing technical troubleshooting supporting on MS Exchange and or Office 365 is highly preferred.   You will provide technical troubleshooting support to all external Jack Henry customers remotely; utilizing VPN and or Cloud based technologies.  You must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills as you will provide solutions to our customers via email and or phone. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience as Systems Engineering and it must be in MS Windows environment utilizing Server 2008 or higher.
  • Must have a minimum of 5 years experience having provided technical experience in either troubleshooting support and or implementation of VMware.
  • Must have a minimum of 5 years experience doing technical troubleshooting support and or implementation with Network Attached Storage (NAS) and or Storage Area Network (SAN).

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Preferred experience within JHA banking software & support.
  • Troubleshooting and or implementation with Cloud based solutions experience is preferred.
  • Troubleshooting and or implementation with Backup products such as: AppAssure & Rapid Recovery.
  • Troubleshooting and or implementation with Microsoft Exchange & or Office 365 environments. 
  • Applicable technical certification(s) preferred (MCSE, MCITP, and or VMWARE VCP).
  • Troubleshooting and or implementation with Dell EqualLogic SAN experience is preferred.
  • Troubleshooting and or implementation with Dell Server experience is preferred.
  • Troubleshooting and or implementation with iSCSI storage network experience is preferred
  • Operations experience within a Manage Service Support Product model.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 

  • Responsible for providing support to virtual network environments with SAN storage devices and Windows servers.
  • Responsible for customer facing communication and working with a team of engineers assisting with supporting virtual network environments. 
  • Support applications and peripherals on servers including tape backup hardware and software, email software, anti-virus software, etc.
  • Support current network operating systems on new or existing devices and/or communication equipment including routers and switches.
  • Provides phone support to employees or customers relative to networking technology.
  • Corresponds with customer and other divisions within the company to insure all customer concerns and issues are resolved in a timely manner.
