Are you looking for an opportunity to monitor and provide physical campus security in a corporate environment with several campuses?  If so, the Security Manager role may be perfect for you! This position reports to the Senior Manager of Physical Security, part of Corporate Security & Compliance Services team.  The Physical Security team is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and administration of security systems at the JHA facilities. The managed components include issuing badges, access control, surveillance and intrusion systems.  Part of this role also includes providing physical security and procedure guidance.     Ideal candidates must be able process various security alarms, establish and maintain performance criteria, dispatch local responders and or deploy external third party resources to get the job done.  This a true blended role of managing activities of the Monett Asset Protection administrators, Monett Campus patrol officers, and national monitoring of the overall security systems of JHA facilities. This position will be located and worked out of the Monett, MO campus and the person selected must be able to pass physical condition requirements of defensive tactics training.

  • 7 years of experience in a physical security, dispatch, or call center environment.
  • 7 years of leadership experience. 


  • Associates Degree Preferred.
  • ASIS PSP certification preferred.


  • Plans, organizes and directs departments work activities including scheduling of staff to provide coverage on a 24 x 7 basis.
  • Oversees the operation budget including budget, payroll, and daily operations.
  • Oversees the training of patrol officers and ensures that legal documentation is filled out and maintained.
  • Ensures that the issuance, tracking, reporting, and auditing of badges issued to contractors is completed according to company policies and procedures.
  • Coordinates interaction with local Emergency Services (Fire/Police/Ambulance).
  • Ensures that all officers are current in their training on subjects pertinent to JHA Security.
  • Ensures integrity for all physical security systems and performs user audits on a routine basis.
  • Ensures that department standards for responding to, recording, and tracking events are maintained by administrators.
  • Ensures notification performance criteria is documented, routinely reviewed and maintained by administrators.
