If so, this role might be for you!  Jack Henry & Associates is seeking to hire a Strategic Project Manager who will support company-wide initiatives focused on product and program development.  In this exciting role, candidates will plan and execute product integration projects, new product development projects and process improvement projects. This role supports across all divisions and products of Jack Henry, Symitar and Profit Stars with projects such as teller system rewrites, enterprise workflows and security and upgrades.  This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to get into the project management field.   • Associates Degree or 4 years of work experience
  • Minimum of 18 months of experience in project management 
  • Experience utilizing all phases of a project’s lifecycle, including initiating, planning, executing, monitoring/controlling, and closing projects
  • Experience utilizing standard project management principles, tools, techniques, and frameworks, or project lifecycle


  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
  • Agile experience or certifications a big plus (PMI – ACP, Certified Scrum Master, or other Agile frameworks.)


  • Manages the development and implementation of new or upgraded products and/or manages the creation and implementation of corporate processes.
  • Coordinates departmental or cross-functional teams, focused on delivering new or upgraded products or corporate processes.
  • Monitors the project from initiation through delivery including planning and directing schedules and monitoring budget/spending.
  • Organizes cross-functional activities, ensuring completion of the project is on schedule and within budget constraints.
  • Provides mentoring and support to other project managers in dealing with project management issues for their assigned projects.
  • Demonstrates excellent project management skills.
  • Assists less experienced peers.
